First of all I must adress this its bullshit saying anyone can beat anyone...

In fair play that is not true in fair fighting no kicking between legs and no eye poking and no hits against throat.

No human normal human person by themself without any fight training has 0 chance with no weapons only body and no guns and no knives, against a good martial artist.

The saying if I get lucky if I hit with a kick... Against a good martial artist he ducks or block your  punches and kicks easily...

A normal person has 0 chance, and also is to slow...

What I also actually hate is the disrespect people of today has for Bruce Lee saying oh fighters of today beat him, or saying Jet Li beat him etc...

Also fighting has to do some with strenght but it certainly does not has to do with height or weight...

Bruce Lee has earned the respect in Martial Arts arena he is the best no doubt, he fought in many fights in real life on the streets and beat the best in his time, in real fights on the street he also might have beaten people with knives against him. All who challenged Bruce Lee lost... And they were many, more about this below in comments:

No human will ever be better then Bruce Lee, as he were so fast that he had to slow down his movements on camera...
None of today nor Jet Li or Jackie Chan or Sammo Hung or anyone of today is that fast or even close... As we all can see what they fighters and martial arts do on camera of today.

The force behind Bruce Lees Kicks were sick as a kick destroyed a huge boxing bag so it got a hole in it...

His fist punches were so hard that he could kill one person with one punch on chest or stomacke.

Bruce Lee were not just an actor, but a real street fighter, he won like all he fought against.

And Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Sammo Hung they all respect and admire Bruce Lee saying he were the best and fastest ever .

People who claim otherwise or compare the human suckers of today in Martial arts vs Bruce Lee knows nada nothing about Martial arts... They are not even close.... They are slow in speed and weak in their punches and kicks compared...

Bruce Lee also adapted his style to no style be as water and adapt to his opponents and developed Jet Kun Do.

Bruce Lee also defeated like the best Akido masters of his time... I think its the same style of martial arts Steven Segal trains witch is very hard to win or beat over.

The truth of the matter is some people compare Bruce Lee vs Jet Li...

Jet Li is absolute nothing compared to Bruce Lee who has really mean side kicks... etc...

Jet Li really shows his weakness in some of his movies Borntodefence etc.
Jet Li is also not as good to block strikes and kicks but takes much beatings.

Jet Li is also more actor then real fighter. Bruce Lee were a real fighter and never lost in real street fights etc, also Chuck Norris the best in his time, can verify that, Chuck Norris is one of the best in World.

But Bruce Lee is best of all humans forever and ever, 0 doubt, faster then what the cameras can percieve.. Bruce Lee had to slow down his movements in order to be seen... Sick amazing... Only human?... one super human possible in World with that speed ever..., and force behind kicks and punches...

Actually this is the answer very few is gonna like as some believe you have to be fitt trained to be the best fighter this is not true, the best fighter of Jet Li, Jacki Chan and all of today fighters is Sammo Hung.

Sammo Hung is excellent to block strickes and kicks and also attack as well, and has began martial arts at very young age same with Jet Li and Jacki chan.

Both Jet Li and Jacki Chan lacks good blocking, Jackie might be a bit better then Jet Li, also much of Jet Li is more movie then reality same with Jackie Chan, but compared to Bruce Lee they are all weak and slow... As all their movements can be seen on camera...

1) (Jet Li) Li did not fight on the Beijing Wushu team. It is a performance team
2) (Jet Li) Li does not have a competitive fighting record.

(Jet Li) Li was not a real fighter. Some sources say that he ended his formal Martial arts training at around 17 or 20.

You do realise what the Beijing championships are right? They're essentially gymnastics/dance competitions with no physical contact. They don't fight each other, they just perform forms and techniques to a panel of judges and are ranked accordingly. (Jet Li) Li himself that he has never had to use his martial arts in a real fight."

@mtuske: what are you going on about? Li was a dancer who studied some martial arts to help his acting, Bruce spent his entire adult life practicing the martial arts. So many people have gone on record talking about how much of an amazing fighter he was. Jet doesn't even compare."

Jet Li is mainly a wushu stylist. Wushu, as a sport is mainly for demonstrations or Taolu competitions, where you perform a form (kata in japanese) against other competitors performing their own forms. Contact fighting in Wushu is called Sanda and it resembles kickboxing, except that you can use takedowns on your opponent, but no ground fighting. Jet Li won many a gold medal in his day and is a prodigy but I've not seen anywhere that he was a Sanda prodigy or that he has an impressive fighting record. Not only that but Sanda is a sporting event where you have rules and limits. Furthermore, Jet Li only focused on Northern Wushu styles. Wushu versions of traditional kung fu tend to be watered down and they have a lot of aerial tricks and backflips added to impress judges. Their goal is to win a tournament, not self-defense.

On the other side there is Bruce Lee, who learned Wing Chun from Ip Man, the greatest Wing Chun stylist ever. It is a southern Kung Fu style and there's hardly any beauty and aestheticism to it, it's all function. He used to get into fights all the time, which is why he learned kung fu, to defend himself, not for show. He also did boxing during his early years and became an amateur champion in his school. It is documented by various sources including Lee's own accounts, interviews with friends and collaborators that tell us that Bruce Lee routinely got into street fights and even had a record in China. Upon moving to the U.S he kept fighting people. During this time Lee thought Wing Chun wasn't enough anymore and sought to learn from as many fighting styles as he could and put them to the test. He studied other styles of Kung Fu such as Five Family Fist, Five Animals, Choy Li Fut, fencing, boxing, judo, Muay Thai, etc.

Upon becoming famous, even more and more people sought to fight Lee on the street so they could be the ones to claim having beaten the great Bruce Lee. One of them even broke into his home to challenge him. This man had true fighting experience, which occurs spontaneously and on the streets and not in a ring. One of his challengers later recounted that Lee's first move in their fight was to go for the eyes, since it's a "get badly hurt or hurt badly" situation. He trained several people including Joe Lewis, who is recognized as one of the greatest kickboxers to have ever lived. Lee is the real deal and not for show, simple as that. Not to mention he was someone who truly was at the peak of his physical fortitude.
Jackie Chan never learned any kung fu style formally. His training was for Chinese opera and showmanship, which would've included martial arts. Later on he got into learning some Southern styles but mainly for performance purposes. He is, however, extremely strong, agile and resilient.

I'm a big martial arts fan and come December I'll be undergoing my black belt test in the Five Family, Five Animal style of Kung Fu. Modern sport practices are ruining traditional martial arts IMHO so I know there's a big difference between a sportsman and a martial artist. If a man comes at you you don't kick him in the head, you jab him in the eyes and kick his knee in. Survival is what matters.

Speaking as a black belt who's trained for 11 years strait, Bruce Lee takes this. Movie feats only show what they can do, and as cool as they look, many kicks, locks, and throws are not applicable to real fights, the exception being competition.
Competition fights are controlled scenarios where two fighters face off, but most of the time cannot unleash their true abilities. Competition is against trained fighters who use a set style. What happens then in the streets, where the opponent has a random style you can't predict?
Bruce Lee has actual street fight experience, as well as competition. I like Jet Li and Jackie Chan, but Bruce Lee is the best. He takes this."

Here is the thing though, if you knew about that before you made all your post, you're without question bias. If you didn't, then whatever.

But beyond that, you have been going on about "On comicvine we go by feats, ect ect." Yet, you didn't do a single bit of fact checking on Jet Li, but auto claimed he would stomp bruce. Bruce Lee has a established Boxing record. There are people that have admitted Bruce has fought on the street. His wife confirms him fighting for the right to teach in CA. Maybe different fighters confirm learning under and training with Bruce. Clearly he knows how to fight. Yet, there is Chan and Li have gone on record to say they are not fighters. Haven't ever actually fought anyone.

Yet, still you say lee would lose?

I'm saying your bias, because it's not about if these guys were real fighters. It's about, as you said, feats. There is more evidence and feats to suggest that Bruce would kill these guys."
